Swansea University and University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) approach for the delivery of IAU key components is relational through ‘co-production and improvement methodologies. The human and other resources of both universities are collectively maximised to achieve project objectives. Together the universities are the co-leads of the programme and approached the venture through co-leadership, co-design and co-delivery of the programme objectives and components 1-4.

Both institutions bring together best practices in the multi-disciplinary and integrated approach including experience and lessons from networked constituent collaborations from the ecosystems of constituent partners in both countries to build and translate a world class model to inform delivery and implementation. The model will seek to enhance knowledge and best practice from the European context provided by Swansea University and UKZN a formidable African University which is richly.
