1. GETTING INTO SHAPE
I see SHAPE as a great opportunity that will enhance my business skills and train my mind to be more business orientated. Without SHAPE I could easily read up on current affairs, business trends and be informed but at the end of the day I would still lack the business skills that cannot be learnt through text books and business reports but can only be learnt through experience and interaction with individuals have who have gone through the struggles of trying to establish successful businesses.
Success in business is not only achieved through a business savvy mind but as SHAPE believes (and I share in this belief) that one must want to achieve greatness with their mind and heart. Often people give up on their dreams because there are a lot of setbacks and their heart is no longer willing to believe in their dream. One of the things that I admire about SHAPE is that it highlights the human aspect of business. Society nowadays see businesses as entities that are run with an iron fist but behind a business lies an idea and behind that idea lies in individual who has a dream to be great.
2. HOPES AS A YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR
Making a mark in the business industry is perceived to be difficult, almost impossible, with good reason. The business world requires hard work, dedication, commitment, perseverance and focus in abundance. There will be failure, mistakes and setbacks along the way and with this in mind I plan to stay focused, with my vision and dream in mind. Therefore I, as a young entrepreneur, am on a road that has neither directions nor a specific destination but I am willing work endlessly and tirelessly to be a successful and noteworthy businesswoman.
Initiatives such as SHAPE enable me to realise my full potential as an individual, first and foremost. Once I have a true sense of who I am and what I want, I believe the road to being a successful entrepreneur will be a little brighter. As I realise my true dreams and aspirations I can then apply all the skills that I acquire here to making my dreams a success. I believe that life is about waking up every day to do what you love and what makes you happy and so I strive to wake up with a smile on my face each and every morning.
